A Day in the Life Of A Male Citizen by Asher DCP

My experience

As a male citizen, I don’t have to do much besides take my wife out to the market or somewhere else, my slave could do that as well, there isn't much else unless I have to go to council meetings if I get hit by the red rope.

My real experience

I woke in my royal palace in Athens and there was my slave fanning me with a palm tree leaf, as I was eating my grapes and drinking wine. I was enjoying myself until my wife came over and asked if we could go to the angora and get some cheese. I said yes and I took my wife for a walk she is not allowed to go anywhere without a male with her. Around 12 pm I met this metic and he was selling some wine, cheese, and grapes, etc. We decided to buy some, marble cheese. We purchase the cheese then my wife and I  were walking up the hill by the glaterater stadium we saw a male citizen get hit by the red rope. We knew that if you get hit you would have to go to a meeting and if you didn't go you would be punished. We walked back home and my slave was making some bread and making a fruit platter. My slave followed me outside with the platter, and I sat down and just tanned for the rest of the day and enjoyed myself.

My Salve

I make my slave sleep in a dirt bed, at 7 am he goes to grab a palm tree leaf and waits for me to wake up, as soon as I wake up he starts fanning me. For the rest of the day, my slave feeds me and gives free air condition or takes my wife to the market.

Medic I Met

This Metic I met was selling grapes bread wine etc, he was not allowed to own any land all he could own was a tent the reason why the Metic could not own any land is that he was not born in Athens.
